This is the first rose to bloom this year. What a beauty!
This weekend could not have been any better weather wise. After a delay by two snow storms the beginning of April, Spring is finally here! You can always tell because the Crocus start to pop up everywhere and give the brown leaves from the Fall before a little splash of color. With the weather so perfect I couldn't resist taking some time to get out there and take some shots of these little beauties.
I also caught a few visitors to the garden this weekend. The first one is a Chickadee who visited me while I was sitting on the back steps. They have very little fear of humans. Quick buggers though. The second is of a red squirrel that was running around like he was on something. I finally caught him up in one of the trees. I think he thought he was well hidden. Ha! The last one is of our statue that is gaurding the garden. Mean little guy!
